How often do you buy protein powder??

When I bought my 5 lb canister a few months back, I thought it would last me forever..GRR.. Here I am needing it already. I actually seldom make shakes with it, but I do use it every day in my yerba mate tea. Have you guys done the math and figured out about how much it costs you?? Man, it's expensive.. I feel guilty buying it! I'm better at buying videos or equipment which I know I will have forever..LOL.. I'd like to think the muscles its helping to make I'd have forever! But I know that isn't true either..
