Guest guest
, Not everyone would be able to modify it to the dyna disks, but I'm sure you could modify it easily. I have both and hadn't ever thought of trying the disks for a bosu workout, but it could be done on some of the moves. What would be fun would be to have the dyna disks and the bosu side by side and alternating between the two! Tonya Re: Re: Yesterday and today.. Hmm.. I don't know much about dyna disks, so I don't feel like I could answer the question . Sorry. I am certain that the workout could be done perfectly on a step though!Darcy On Mon, Sep 29, 2008 at 10:28 AM, Pink <pinkpussycatpinkpussycatscorner> wrote: Great job Darcy! Those are tough workouts and you worked up a super calorie burn!Do you know if the bosu workout, Cardio Fusion with Rob Glick, could be done with dyna disks in lieu of an actual Bosu? Dyna disks are 2 inflatable wobbly disc that I think could be substituted? Thanks!
Guest guest
I have been getting my workouts in, and feeling great with them Yesterday, I did The Kettlebell Way again. I actually tried to do an iron core, but my DVD player didn't like it. I have no idea why.... Anyway, I upped my kettlebell to a 30lb one for the swings at the beginning. Wow. Very intense. I just wipe myself out after doing kettlebells. They are so amazing.. I burned 553 calories, but I don't remember the rest of the stats. Today, I felt like a Cathe since it seems awhile since I have done one. I did Low Max. I do like this workout. I was worried it would drag on since it's 70 minutes, but it didn't I was kind of wondering why I chose to do it after a tough kettlebell workout with some of those intensity blasts that were all lower body... But, I managed I burned 737 calories, with my high being 177, and my average being 141. I have to go " to town " today which is an hour long drive with the younger boys. NOT looking forward to it. But I need to take my video camera to best buy for repair and I had BEST get it back within 2 weeks for my son's x-mas party...GRR... And, I have a couple of returns as well.. Happy Tuesdays everyone!Darcy
Guest guest
Hi Darcy! Great job! I really enjoy hearing about your kettlebell workouts! I found Iron Core vol 2 at goodwill, but am a bit scared to try it after having a look, lol! I think I need to get vol 1 to try first. Plus, I'm still SO fascinated by these adjustable bells: http://www.uskettlebells.com/ Sounds like you got some great bargains on Fri - good job! And your new fuzzy shirt sounds nice and comfy, too! I hope your shopping trip today went well. Sara > > I have been getting my workouts in, and feeling great with them > Yesterday, I did The Kettlebell Way again.
