Guest guest Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 At least I think it's Thursday - with the kids off again today (snow day yesterday, PD day today (yes, on a Thursday <shaking head>)), it really has felt like Sunday all day! Yesterday I realized once again that how I feel before a workout is not necessarily how I'll feel half-way through. Just Do It Already is a very good motto for me on those days! I did the upper body weights/band from Cathe's Basic Step. What a good session that is, and so nice to change up and use the bands. After that I finally did the 10 Min Sol Ballet workout - my knees didn't like it so much...but I can feel it in a good way today in my quads. And since I was there, I also did the Pilates workout - boy, that's an effective 10 minutes. After lunch I walked on the tmill, just to get in more calories burned. I was only going to go for 15 mins or so, but then I got into the ending of Masada, and just kept going. It's difficult to walk and watch and cry at the same time, but I did it. 40 minutes, much of which was bonus above and beyond my goal. Yay. Now to pick out my next dvd to watch...I'm thinking Pride and Prejudice. , expecting another winter storm tonight and tomorrow - if it's another day off for the grumpy little people in my house, I'll have to do kickboxing whether my knees want to or not!!! :-) No virus found in this outgoing message.
