Guest guest
Fake it until you make it! LOL.. love it Sara!! :)Darcy Hi Darcy, Glad to head that the party went smoothly! And cake, cake is always a good thing, lol! Great job on getting a workout in on part day, and today as well. Sorry to hear you were having trouble getting into it. I know those days well. I usually try to just tell myself " fake it til you make it " . Until the groove comes back. And heck, 641 cals burned for a workout that you weren't that into is excellent! Guest guest
Darcy you are making me want to try kettlebells in the worst way! Thanks for posting your workouts! are you out there? I miss you!Darcy Ledman wrote: I keep forgetting to post my workouts for today and yesterday...GRRR... I enjoy reading everyone else's and forget to post my own. Anyway, yesterday I did PUB. Normally, I have a dread factor for this workout. The biceps and chest kill me. Although yesterday's workout went rather quickly. I did have to split it into two though which I wasn't happy about, but I was just happy to be able to workout, so I took it. For that reason, I didn't even put my HRM on. I was very short on time. I matched Cathe on biceps and chest which about killed me, and then for triceps, back, and shoulders, I went a set heavier. Today, I got up early and also eager to workout. It was moments later that Sawyer was up and ill, so a workout didn't happen. I ended up taking Sawyer to school at noon though. The last time he threw up was at 8:00, at 9:00 he was whimpering / whining, but then like 9:30 - 10:00 he was eating, running, and playing. AND, he hasn't stopped since!? Very strange..... He never hada fever either Anyway, I got back from taking Sawyer to school at 12:17, I had to be back there at 2:00 for his party. I got a workout and shower in, and the boys properly dressed (they were both sleeping and had to carry them in from the van). Anyway, I was thrilled to have a very tiny opportunity to workout I did the kettlebell workout again. I skipped the joint mobility though, and also decreased most of my rest times to 30 seconds (from a minutes). So I shaved some time off the workout. It ended up being about 45 minutes.. It's funny, I have never been able to tell much of a weakness in my arms/shoulders before UNTIL kettlebells. Wow. There is a huge difference, my right arm can barely finish a set of military presses, whereas my right puts it up w/out a problem. Anyway, my stats were: calories 528max 175avg 145Tomorrow, I plan on doing cardio. I'm not sure what though. We'll have to see what the energy level is at in the morning :)Darcy

Guest guest
Thank you Sara - we did!! I'm glad it's in the past now though :)Darcy Hi Darcy, Great job with PUB! I hope everyone in your household is feeling well now. And I hope you and the family had a great Halloween, too! Sara > > I keep forgetting to post my workouts for today and yesterday...GRRR... Guest guest
Yesterday I did Iron Core Volume 1 again. I used my 35lb kettlebell a lot of the time for swings. I do like this workout a lot. I just sooo love kettlebells, it's hard to imagine not liking any kettlebell workout..ha..ha.. Anyway, I burned 411 calories, with my average being 136, if memory is serving me correctly. Oh, I also woke up with some DOMS yesterday from Slo-Mo (or from moving my 6000 pound bed the day before) I had DOMS in my lower-mid back...weird place for it for me.. It took me by surprise. Today, I did an oldie..... I did Tae-Bo Advanced Live Volume #4. Boy, what memories. I used to workout to tae-bo exclusively years ago. It was the ONLY thing I did for a couple of years. I actually went like a year and a half w/out EVER missing a dayt. No rest days ever. Crazy..crazy... Anyway, I was happy to see I could keep up just fine and felt I got a good workout in. I burned 715 calories with my average being 144. Max was 177. I have to train in a little bit, and then the rest of the day is free - ya-hoo!!! I also found out DH will be home tomorrow and no more work in Nebraska! This means he will be home every weekend now again. Thank God. It will be so nice to have it be kind of " normal " around here.. The boys will be thrilled too.... Enjoy your Saturdays everyone!Darcy
