we have received the wrong amounts of items, or had missing items and missed chelating sessions etc. we have also been charged twice for the same invoice and been overcharged a few times. just recently dr heard advised that we take a 10 day course of the antibiotic humatin for

>>I've had the same problem and thought then it was because he went from having a 3 week waiting list when I first went to 12 months in the space of about 5 weeks and it was because they were not used to it.

They should be used to it by now. Its all very strange, usually when somebody retires you get reassurances you will continue to get appropraite care and by whom. I don't get that from their letter. Best I stock up on some DMSA while I can still say my son is a patient (even though we only ever had two consults..........)

Someone

once told me to check my invoices/ charges from the Breakspear

and I never have!!! you’re definitely not the

only one.

I’ve

been sent the right things but once I was upset that, during a blood draw, the

person taking the blood told me he was dreading taking Tom’s blood. I was

v. stressed myself and thought he should have been reassuring me. I ended up

reassuring him!

breakspear hospital moan

i've been having some problems with the breakspear hospital i wondered

whether anyone

else has experienced similar challenges. we've been seeing dr heard for almost

3 years and

we've found him to be well informed and thorough. however, my experience is that

the

nursing department (who calculate the perscriptions and ship them) are not as

thorough. we

have received the wrong amounts of items, or had missing items and missed

chelating

sessions etc. we have also been charged twice for the same invoice and been

overcharged a

few times. just recently dr heard advised that we take a 10 day course of the

antibiotic

humatin for parasites. but the nurse manager (mark) only put an eight day

course in the

parcel. when i called up to query, i was told that it was sufficient, so there

wasn't a problem.

but to me there is a problem if a doctor is advising a certain treatment and

i'm not receiving

it. also even though there have been a list of 'mistakes' they don't seem to be

doing anything

about it. plus, we are paying lots of money for these treatments. i've lost my

confidence

now, i'm almost expecting items to turn up wrongly calculated!

i would probably change provider, but after 3 years of paying for the treatment

myself, i have

just received funding from caudwell for the breakspear treatment, so i don't

really want to

change.

We last saw in 2005 but our invoices were always wrong, our meds

were sometimes wrong and it was only really him who inspired confidence.
