Guest guest
I've recently canceled my gym membership and started working out at home, so today was the first day that Cash, my 10-month-old German Shepherd, got to see Mom do lunges. He thought these were the most hilarious things he'd ever seen. While I was in a standing position, he'd leap forward into a play bow and yip at me. Then when I lunged forward, he'd jump back and act scared. I'd step back up to a stand, and he'd leap forward, play bow, and bark again. I was laughing so hard I lost count and ended up doing a 4 or 5 more than I'd planned. The next set wasn't so funny, though. He started out doing the same thing, and by about the 5th rep he grabbed the edge of my pants and tugged my leg forward. He thought that was pretty much the greatest thing he'd ever done, so on the next set he grabbed my pants leg and about two inches of shin. Ouch!!! Poor Cash had to leave the workout room. As if all this weren't funny enough, my 5-year old Shepherd Rocky was standing in the doorway THE ENTIRE TIME barking and growling at Cash as if to say " Stop it! Stop messing up Mom's workout! Quit it right now! " I live in the dog loony bin.
