Check to see if Sports Authority will order them in for you. We have

one here, and our store has all kinds. I went yesterday and bought a

couple of new DB -- they are having a 20% off sale.

I was at Sports Authority the other day and they don't have anything like what

you're looking for.

They didn't have kettlebells over 10 pound either. I would suggest finding a

local bodybuilder

or muscle place. That's where you're going to find what your husband wants.

It's going to be a

place that carries stuff for building home gyms. If you're out in the sticks,

you might be paying

shipping, if not, you should be able to find something like that.

Hi Meg,

As obvious as this sounds, have you tried Walmart? Their selection is

usually spotty, but at this time of the year, I've noticed they've

fully stocked their weights. Mine has Olympic bars, all sizes of

plates, and your basic cast iron DB up to massive weights (50+ lbs).

They also have the 3 lb db handles, and some for bars, that take the

spin-on locks.

Still staggers me that they can import big hunks of iron from China

and make a profit, but that's volume sales for you...

Found some! My husband found a 170 lb set at a different Sports

Authority than where I'd look, so it does go to show it helps to look

around a bit. My next leg workout is going to be fun.
