hey hey hey!!! still waiting for 100% loan approval. its a first time

home buying no money out of pocket loan so are monthly is going to be

quite a bit more then our rent now but its going to more worth it in

the long run. also waiting on appraisal as that is how the loan works

and they want to make sure ppl aren't trying to sell it for thousands

of dollars more then its worth and it configures the taxes since down

payment,taxes,interest and mortgage, homeowners, and closing costs are

all included!!!

some issues with scouts but its getting ironed out now. some parents

are not being upfront. we found one woman is losing her kids and the

courts have ordered her not to be around the kids without special

court permission. she came one night to the campout and tried to take

over then she though she was still a nurse. almost gave a kid bendryll

when he is severely allergic to it and could have died. that was the

last straw and thats when we found this out. she is of course not

welcomed back and from here on in only leaders and parents of those

kids will be allowed to dispense medical aid. if she is allowed to

come back she has to follow the rules and she will no longer be

considered allowed to try for den leadership. its just not allowed and

she has a long mental illness history she was not 100% upfront about

plus she lied about little details she shouldn't have lied about(she

wasn't in trouble just makes you untrustworthy) and that just makes

one wonder what else are we lying about.

other then that i am starting pack b/c if i can't get the house i am

out of here either way. i am tired of this place i told the rental

company they rent to drug dealers and the cops have already been here

with an arrest. there is always screaming,yelling, and slamming of

doors all hours of the day and night. ppl are cutting through the

court yard and someone peeked in viola's window and now we have a hard

time getting her to sleep in her room. they claim we are breaking the

lease but we pointed out how bad they are with the not doing something

about above complaints and well as the garbage all over the property

how ppl who don't live are letting their dog poop and pee all over our

grass(how gross we have kids that play here!!!) and they won't clean

it up. there is damage in the bathroom b/c of water problems in the

apartment above that the ceiling is caving and cracking and paint is

peeling. this has become a severe safety issue and i don't care if i

get my deposit back for not(only $150) they can take this place and

shove it up their rear for all i care. the final straw was more damage

to my red car and gas stolen from dh's van. we are done and through

and will be happy if we get this house on a quiet block with a yard

and if ppl come on my property, cops have the right to pull you out

instead of now they are saying unless somebody is doing some illegal

they can't remove them without the rental company's permission.

i have to cancel netflix and all that and i posted a blog on cathe's

site that i don't care if i can never afford another exercise video

again for the next 20 years. i am willing to give all that up just to

have comfort that i can send my daughter out in the yard to play

without worry of drugs,gangs,and strange ppl. we are on a beautiful

dead end street. we met everybody there on the block they are lovely

ppl thus far and the house is practically brand new and restored so i

have NOTHING to do but decorate and mom and i have already started.

just need a sofa cover that matches my new curtains!!!

keep us in mind for prayers b/c its gotten this far, we are getting

out of our lease and if this company backs out on their end i will

just call the city in on this and i am sure that will work. we are

pretty much approved for the VHDA/FHA loan but they have to iron out

details. all that is left is appraising,signing closing papers,

getting keys and getting the F out of dodge!!!

Awesome Kassia. I truly can't imagine lving where I couldn't send my boys out. We live in a very small community. Crime just barely ever happens, plus we live out in the country on top of a beautiful ridge... The boys are outside playing all of the time. I guess I take it for granted...
