I have officially got just 2 days of cardio this week. This is the first time I've ever done this so we will see if I notice anything different with my body. I suppose I would have to do this for a few weeks though. So I did what was on the rotation, Body Max 2 Double Upper Body. I have to say though that I don't think my upper body was quite ready for another workout even though it has been a couple of days (Tuesday). I noticed this morning that my chest felt a touch sore, but figured I'd do fine. When I started the very first exercise my muscles felt super tight. It was all I could do to get through every single rep. I also realized my low back was pretty sore from the deadlifts yesterday. As I tried to do the tricep kickbacks my low back was actually aching. I've done this routine before and have always been able to go well over what Cathe was using so this was very frustrating to me. Were my muscles just not ready for another upper body workout even with the rest? The fatigue was just unbelievable. Anyway, here's how it went. All exercises are done twice! Back: Double arm rows- 20 lbs Pullovers- 25 lbRear flys- 8 lb Chest-Decline push ups on the ball- first set on toes on the floor/ set 2 done as they did.Wide stance push ups on the floor- on my knees and had to keep stoppingChest flys on the ball- started out with 20's and had to drop to 15's. Shoulders-Seated overhead press- started with 15's had to drop to 12's and then to 10'sShoulder circles into lateral raises- 5 lbs Repeat shoulder circles and lateral raises- 5lbs (stopped on a couple reps) Biceps-Seated hammer curls- 12's (here I could almost feel a little bit of soreness when I got to the top of my bicep curl.Incline dumbbell curls on the ball- 12'sSeated concentration curls- 12's Triceps-32 dips on weights-Repeat dips and extensions- she doesn't repeat these in the workout.kickbacks- 5 lbs (stopped a couple reps on the last round) My arms were shaking even trying to put my makeup on. That shouldn't happen with this workout. With GS, S & H, or PUB yes, but not this one. Anyone have this happen? I'm glad its over, but I may have to listen to my body a little more next week.
