Tuesday was a good exercise day. I started out with Training With Tonya Chest & Back which is basically 30 minutes of weights with a light stretch at the end. Then I went to Training With Tonya Abs. Another 30 minutes of all ab exercises with a very light stretch at the end. Then I did Body & Soul Fitness Fat Burning. This is another Dollar Tree find that was another in the Aussie Fit series apparently. It is 40 minutes of very basic old school aerobics. The cueing isn't the greatest, but I got a good sweat going. It is all high impact, but they do have one girl doing a low impact version, most of the time. There are times there where it looks like she forgets that she is suppose to do the low impact, or maybe she isn't sure how to modify to low impact on a couple of moves. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who isn't experienced enough to know the modifications for anything they can't do high impact, but true advanced exercisers would be bored because it is pretty basic moves wise. The same cheesy 80's looking set and clothes as the Body & Soul Legs. After that, I did Stott Pilates Simple Stretches. This is actually yoga and a nice 40 minute practice. There are a couple of poses that I wouldn't classify as "simple" but I felt good at the end. I finished up with a 15 minute meditation with some relaxing music.

Wednesday wan't such a good exercise day. I had to go to the school for welcome week activities. It was suppose to start out with brunch, so I didn't eat before I went. DUMB move on my part. Got there and waited in line for 2 hours before finding out that after checking in we didn't get a "brunch" but a lunch of cheeseburgers and fries. So, yeah, I ended up having a cheeseburger for breakfast. Then we did all kinds of getting to know you activities, an introduction to the college, and some classroom sessions on adjusting to college. It was all geared toward Freshmen straight out of high school and was really boring for me, but it made for a long day, especially all the time sitting on the bleachers in the gym. My back was killing me by the time I got home, and my stomach didn't like the food at all. I ended up spending the night sick to my stomach so I didn't workout except for the walking across campus to go to the different group activities.

I'm still feeling a little blah, so I'm hoping to get a workout in today, but not promising anything. I've got a little DOMS from Tuesdays weight work, though, so I'm happy even if I don't get anything in today. LOL
