So this one was on deck last Wednesday. It definitely went better for

me than leg day, but I expected as much. I usually find most

anything easier than leg day, lol. I think this one was about 50

minutes. I liked this one, too. But, I didn't have the DOMs I

expected from this, so maybe I didn't go heavy enough. The reps all

felt very challenging, though. A very good workout anyway.

Break down:

Warm up

Laying lat row – dumbbell lat row while lying over stability ball

One arm pullover while lying on ball

Seated lat row – use dumbbell and resistance band to create a seated

row that mimics a low row machine – clever use, but I think I've seen

this in the FIRM classics, too

Barbell shrugs

Barbell seated press, on stability ball

Cuban press – do a clean press, then slowly lower the weights back to

the start position

Incline front shoulder raise on stability ball

Reverse delt fly on stability ball, with upward rotation at the end

of the movement

Stretch

The last time I did the workout I got super sore. Very different exercises and a nice change from other workouts.

Great job!!

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, Sara! I like anything that uses the ball -

such an intensifier to any exercise!

Hopin' you'll feel those DOMS creep in later!

Thanks, ! I really enjoyed my two weeks with Amy. Now I

just have to get up the courage to try some of her cardio workouts,

lol.

Love your Halloween theme signature, BTW.

:)

I love the stability ball, too! Core Secrets was the first workout

set that I did regularly, and I really enjoyed the ball work so much

that I started to work it into my traditional strength training.

I was happy to see that Kathy 's Project You uses a lot of ball

work as well. I have a stability ball week penciled in for December,

so I'm thinking I could work in some Prject You that week. :)
