Guest guest
Hi! Today I did the FIRM's new kickboxing workout with Kelsie s. I'm sorry I can't recall the title! I'm terrible with workout titles. Anyway, I really liked the workout - but I am biased as I tend to like most of the FIRM workouts. The warning on this one - if you want a straight kickboxing cardio routine, this one may not be for you - in this workout Kelsie alternates kickboxing cardio routines with strength training. The strength routines will get your HR up - perhaps more than the kickboxing as she uses compound and functional moves. There are 4 (I think) weight segments and 3 kickboxing segments. The 3 kickboxing segments are athletic in style and pretty easy to follow. Lower impact/lower intensity modifications are shown. Kelsie does well with cueing and her presence is nice as well. Following the main part of the workout is a series of push-ups and planks and then some tradtional ab work and a stretch. I'm not quite
