Guest guest
Hi, Just chiming in - please keep up w/ your flexibility training!! I think at least some of my back problems were caused by tightness in my hip joints and hamstrings - it may have happened anyway, but I think my anatomical issues were exacerbated by allowing my hips and hamstrings to get too tight. It is hard to keep these areas loose - especially w/ a desk job and (ironically) w/ a lot of the exercises we do! Take care, Donna Subject: Re: Wednesday/CarolynTo: "exercisevideos " <exercisevideos >Date: Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 9:56 PM I know! I ended up with such tight joints after all that bike commuting and running, even though I stretched regularly. It's going to take a long time to undo the damage. I'm getting better, though. You're right. I should stretch even more. The snapping went away after that workout. Guest guest
Hi Donna, You're so right. Even one tight area makes it so much easier to incur an injury along the entire kinetic chain. Lately I've noticed that I get relief by doing really different types of activities. I sometimes find that this warms and stretches my joints better than traditional stretches. However, you're right. I'd better pay attention and add more yoga and traditional stretches. > Hi, > Just chiming in - please keep up w/ your flexibility training!!
