Hi Everyone,

This morning's workout was 10 Min Solution Pilates (the one w/ the band w/ Suzanne Bowen leading it - I can never remember the real title!!) Anyway, this one is a good one - a little of everything abs, upper, lower, and some stretching. - it wasn't you - the arm work on this one is tough - that band is evil in that particular segment!! :)

After Pilates I did the practice for lower back tension on Yoga for Stress Relief. This one is a body wisdom media production and Barbara Benagh provides the voice-over and on-camera presence. It is filmed outdoors which is nice. This particular practice is 30 minutes long and focuses on the hips, hip flexors, back, etc. It is a very gentle practice and perfect for getting into the tight areas. I feel that this week I have taken a step backwards as my back has been very tight - I don't know if it was the strength work I did on Sunday or just a coincidence - but I feel like I lost some ground this week. Certainly not a lot, but enough to not feel that I made progress! I think I'll postpone trying more strength work for another couple of weeks to see how things are then. I will also try to incorporate more of the exercises and more sessions from the Yoga for Stress Relief DVD. It is a very good one

for working out various "issues" (other practices include neck and shoulder tension, upset stomachs, insomnia, tension headaches, etc.)

Tomorrow is cardio and whatever else I have time for.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Take care,

Donna
