week in review, back home very late tomorrow night

Well I got around 6 hours of exercise this week - not bad! Not sure what I'll do next week, but I do know that I need to do a couple of total body strength workouts and some intense cardio, just not sure what that will be yet. I got some fun looking and dated dance vhs workouts that I'm anxious to try so we'll see!

I've had a lovely vacation, but I miss my kitties, my routine, and my house - especially the gym! My folks have been super about going out to breakfast and stuff while I work out, but inevitably they come back before I'm finished and I've almost wapped them as they tried to maneuver around me. They talk to me while I'm doing yoga, etc... they really don't " get " my workouts at all.

The holiday goodies at work are fast approaching so I really need to tap into some rock solid iron DISCIPLINE to not overeat and overindulge in the Xmas and New Years' chocolates and such that we get every year from our field offices. The poor economy might actually help us out in this regard - the fewer such gifts the better imo. On our small team of 6 only one of us doesn't have a weight problem, and even he has gained some weight this year ( I'm so jealous of ppl like your DH who's slender and can eat whatever he wants!!!)
