Guest guest
This morning I got up early, like I'd planned and did a quick 20 minute workout with Dozois, Ultimate Cardio Workout from the WW Next Moves DVD. This is intermediate level. I burned about 110 calories in 20 minutes because you move! I love this workout but I've really come to the conclusion lately that my cramped space is just not conducive to high intensity cardio workouts. I'm going to talk with DH about either moving the TV out to the main part of the basement (which would mean clearing space for it, which is fine, most of the stuff out there is either toys or my clutter) or taking furniture out of my little office/workout room and putting that in the main part of the basement. I prefer the first option because it is less reorganizing and ultimately gets me much more space. We'll see. During yesterday's bonus abs section Tamilee said expect to have sore obliques tomorrow if this is the first time you've done the workout and oh was she right! I guess I was doing enough of it correctly to count! I don't even remember being sore there before or at least not for a very long time! I also noticed more definition today to my obliques, that is, my body curves in naturally right where it should. When I was overweight that part completely disappeared and it has taken me a long time to tone enough to see it again and I'm thrilled! I'm off soon to sub for a parent & tots WW meeting about 35 minutes from my house as the leader and then I'm doing a regular meeting after that (kids are still welcome though). The parent & tot meetings get loud sometimes but that is the kind of meeting I lost my weight in so I don't mind. Then I'm home for lunch and then take off again to be a receptionist at another two meetings this evening closer to home. Tomorrow I've got a few hours in the morning to myself so I'm doing a good long workout then. I've been rethinking my "stay or go" plan for this month a bit. Many of the ones I'm considering getting rid of are pretty low intensity workouts and I can't do just them for a month so I'm going to try and do at least 3 of those each week and if they're shorter combine them with a stronger, probably known workout. I'll also make sure the other days are strong too. Yesterday's ended up pretty good and I did good cardio today but I'm thinking pushups challenge again and maybe a Cathe workout I haven't done yet tomorrow. I found Power Hour+ stuffed into a bag with other virgin workouts that I didn't have shelf space for and while I've done MIS on VHS I haven't even taken the plastic off this DVD yet and want to try one of the other workouts on it. It won't be something I need to decide about letting go but at least it will be a virgin that I can later say I've done! I also feel like I'm trying to "study" for my fitness test next week by trying to cram in as many workouts as I can and trying to make them good ones too! :-) Off to get ready to leave!
