Hello All,If a patient comes in and was clearly injured at work but does not want to file a claim for fear of retribution or any other reason- is the chiropractor required to still fill out an 827 and submit to work comp ins carrier?Thank you in advance,Thaddeus Gala DC Complete Care Chiropractic and Massage 1296 S. Absolutely not and do not do it!! The injured worker drives this vehicle and that vehicle comes to a complete STOP if the worker chooses not to file a claim. With that said document EVERYTHING as per the history and that the patient refuses to file a

claim. I then have them print and sign their names to the chart note why? Because they can and do change their minds and you must refund the patient's money they paid you if they later file the claim. Vern Saboe
