Guest guest
Hi, I actually got some yoga in this afternoon - I figure it was my "lunch" break while working at home. I did the 50 min practice for the spine from Yoga Complete for Every Body. It helped tremendously - definately reduced the tightness, the muscles on the right side of my back no longer feel all hard and bunched up. I'm still a little tender/tight but this practice helped quite a bit. I'm aiming to take it easier for the rest of the day - although it is bath night for my DD, and while that isn't as intense as it was when she was a baby, it always bothers my back to clean up the tub - mabye I'll just leave it. I wish I could convince her to take a shower --- grrr! Anyyway, this was a good restorative practice mostly all floor postures, gentle twists for the spine, etc. For tomorrow I may do a quick mat work and then some more restorative yoga. I have a chiro appointment in the morning, and it may be helpful to loosen up to make the whole "adjustment" easier. I guess the good news is my back does seem to bounce back faster after I do something to mess it up. take care, Donna
