What it took me 9 weeks to realize

What a breakthrough this week.

I've been doing this for 9 weeks, and I couldn't figure it out. From

about 4pm - 8:30 or so, I am flat out exhausted. I mean I don't

usually watch TV, but I could barely get off my couch. I figured it

was because I get up at 5:15 to exercise and I'm just tired.

But someone said to me " Just go to bed earlier " , and I said I

couldn't because I got some kind of a second wind right about 8:30

and wasn't tired.

Then it hit me..... My dinners tend to be both calorically higher and

more nutrtious (in terms of whole foods/vegetables vs. protein bars

and cottage cheese/fruit, etc.). It's a food issue! My calories

weren't evenly spread and I just wasn't getting enough calories

earlier in the day -- especially after really hard workouts.

I changed to having larger meals at lunchtime the last couple of days

and voila -- I feel like me again. Still not going to go running at

night, but I don't feel like such a slug.

So... just sharing in case anyone else was facing this.

9 of my first 12 weeks -- down almost 25 lbs and 4 " off my waist. I'm

happy :). Still a lot to go, but a great start! I haven't missed a

workout yet and really haven't had a real cheat day. I think I had

couple of lattes on my cheat days and that's about it.

Keepin' going --

Robbin
