Guest guest
Hi! I just wanted to share a wonderful thing I found! Usually, to balance out carbs/proteins/etc. I am only able to use one slice of bread for " sandwiches. " I have been disappointed to not be able to have two pieces of bread for a sandwich. Since starting BFL, all have had to be " open-faced " -- and much messier -- because of too many carbs in bread. However, I was over at BJ's this weekend and found something wonderful -- Cedar's Whole Wheat Roll-Ups. These are like rectangular tortillas, are about 7 " x9 " flat, and can hold lots of stuff! Nutritionally, they are the best I've found: 90 cals, 9 protein, 12 carb, 4 fat, 5 fiber. Sure it is 30 more cals than one piece of whole wheat sandwich bread, but it packs in the protein and fiber (which I find very hard to get enough of). No, I'm not on the payroll... I'm just thrilled to be able to have a way to eat a sandwich where the " stuff " is contained again. Just thought I'd share.
