I could totally see you leading a strength training class! You're very inspiring!

It would be fun to get paid to workout. What I would love to do is be in one of your classes, right in the front row. I think you'd kill me.

I'd have to be in the back row so other people wouldn't kill me (for being so far off in my timing at the very least)! I'd do it though!

Glad you got your workout in .

The skating sounds like fun. I remember when my oldest daughter would have skate night for school and I was always the stiff, uptight parent who would sit and just watch instead of getting out there and having fun too. Funny how you change (she's 22 now) I'd join in now.

Thanks. She's got to loose some weight. Her belly is just something, especially when she's sitting in that lazy beagle sit.

I think you should do hard workouts like that when you feel like you have the most energy. Its tough though when you want AND need to get it done at a time when your body doesn't want to.

Hi,

This morning me and DH walked the dogs after we took to school. I was hoping it would help with the energy level so I could do my cardio when I got back. I said I'd do all my cardio in the evenings, but figured I'd be OK with what I had down to do today.

I did 4DS HIS/LIS mish mosh. Most of you all have seen this one before.

LIS- warm up

HIS- combo 1

LIS- combo 1

HIS- combo 2

LIS- combo 2

HIS- combo 3

LIS- combo 3

HIS- all 3 blasts

LIS- all 3 blast

HIS- cool down

This routine clocks in at about 50 minutes. I burned 408 calories.

I'm not sure if its allergies going on or what, but for the last 3 days or so I've had a slight sore throat and for the first time this morning I woke up not feeling so hot. I really had to just make myself do this workout. I'm thinking its allergies though.

Anyway, I hope you all have a nice day today.

first off, fabulous weights as usual, michelle!

secondly... to compare my HRM stats with this workout to yours...

my max HR was 124, so your average of 121 sounds reasonable.

however, i burned only 229 cals (and i added on another 15 mins

of stretching which would have increased the cal burn a little

bit). i feel that this a good cal burn for this particular

workout. so yes, i agree that the cal burn estimate of the

timex does not seem right!

yes, thats right... and whether you are male or female. these

things certainly should play a part in the cal burn estimate of

the monitor. i still dont know why you dont just get the

battery changed in your polar. i sent mine away to get done and

it was inexpensive and i had it back in a week. perhaps

polar.usa operates differently, but i found polar.canada to have

great service for battery replacement.

The service here must be different because they wanted to have $100 from my credit card. They said they wouldn't use it unless the cost came to that. I wasn't about to do that for ANYONE. That's why I haven't sent my old one in.

Oh boy, are my calves sore! Yikes.

No stairs for me today (except the usual up and down within the house). I

did do Body Pump 53 this morning, but skipped most of the squats and

lunges. Good workout! Threw in 21 mins of walking on the tmill this

afternoon , just to add some cardio.
