Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Well, the jury is out on how my back is handling T-Tapp. It is not feeling well today - but I'm unsure if it is the T-Tapp or just general over-doing on mundane tasks. Probably the wise move for me would be to put T-Tapp aside for a couple of days, see if I can get my back back to "normal' (for me, meaning where i was pain-stiffness-wise last week) and then try it again. It is odd b/c in the past, doing T-Tapp always made my back feel better, so I have trouble believing that it is the T-Tapp - although that is the only "new" thing I'm doing. The mundane chores are my usual - housecleaning, laundry, desk work, etc. I'm baffled! Anyway, today i did T-Tapp Basic Plus Workout which is the series from Primary Back Stretch through the T-Tapp Twist with Hoe Downs added to the end. My back felt great after PBS - it was iffy by the end - although my hips felt good w/ hoe downs. I wonder if it is the TTT that is messing me up? Perhaps I should skip that move until my back improves some more w/ the chiro treatments? I dunno! It is frustrating! After T-Tapp I hopped on the TM and did a 3 mile walk in about 40 minutes. I didn't do any running intervals as the jury is still out on how my back likes those, but I did keep up a good walking pace between 4.5 and 4.8 mph except for my warm-up and cool down walk where I usually go down to 4 mph. I didn't include any hills either. I'm bummed and confused about the T-Tapp - it may be that I'm just not ready for it yet - or it may be a coincidence? I hope to find some time this afternoon to slip in the "Practice for the Spine" from Yoga Complete for Every Body. That one always helped. Mostly my back is really tight - particularly on my right side -which is also odd (my left side was always the symptomatic side....) weird!!!! The chiro did say it would be an "ebb and flow" thing.....and i guess he's right. Oh well, gotta keep on, right? I think tomorrow I may go back to Pilates as that seemed to be good for my back. I saw in our local newspaper that someone is offering private studio classes - I'm tempted - although I know they're probably out of my price range!! Take care!Donna (aka Frustrated in land!!) Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that Donna. Have you shown the workout to your Chiro? Maybe if they watched it they could give you some idea if the T-Tapp is aggravating things.
