Guest guest
Hi Darcy, Well, I do allow for flexiblity and always keep in the back of my mind that my plan is subject to change, and I sometimes have a back up plan if I'm skeptical about a workout. September was all messed up from the roof project. And my December plan changed a little bit as I worked through my beachbody month in November. And I have a couple miscellaneous months planned in 2009, to allow for new acquistions, or goal changes. So far though, whenever I write down what I'm doing for strength training for the week, I've been getting it done 95% of the time - even if I have to switch the days around a bit. But, what I do is plan my strength training for each week, and then have a vague idea of what I want for cardio, since I like to switch it up with videos and machine cardio. And, really - cardio days are pretty flexible in general. So that lets me feel in control yet allows for a lot of variety. Hopefully one day I can just grab and go, knowing that I WILL work out everyday and not have to think ahead. But for now, and the near future this works for me. Plus, when I sit at the computer with my video inventory spreadsheet and my calendar, it doesn't take very long to figure out my plans. And I feel very accomplished when I'm done, lol.
