Guest guest
I haven't worked out since Thursday, but I'm about to do some yoga. This week started out stressful because my boss really did get fired. That was just the beginning of the BAD, but I'll spare you the details. Let's just say that the week was literally gut-wrenching. My gut seized up for a few days. I was fried by Friday. Because the stress level at work varies a great deal, I will be nothing but frustrated if I try to stick to my current workout plan. I like to set exercise calorie goals, and I like to divide my workout time between strength, cardio & flexibility. The problem is that if I have a tough week where I do more yoga, then it makes it impossible to meet my exercise calorie goals, and I get frustrated. OK, so I'm ditching this program, because once I make a program, it's do or die, LOL. So, instead of trying to adapt my life to my workouts, I'm going to adapt my workouts to my life. I'll decide which workout depending upon my needs each day. For instance, if I'm really stiff, I'm gonna loosen it up with yoga instead of sticking with a predetermined workout type. I'm still going to track exercise calories and food calories, but I'll adapt my food to my exercise level. We'll see how that goes.
