Guest guest
Hi, Finally checking in. I felt like yoga this morning, so instead of doing my planned Shape workout (which I'll do tomorrow) I did yoga instead - finally getting the chance to do Yoga For Beauty - Dawn (I borrowed it from the library and for some reason or other I've never been able to actually do it before it was due back!) Anyway, this is a nice practice, pretty straightforward stuff - not as intense as some of the other practices out there - but definately will work on flexibility and a bit of strength as well as some detoxification. My favorite series was the restorative poses at the end with the blankets as a support/bolster. I also did the 10 min bonus section which was really just a very condensed version of the longer workout. Anyway, today was super busy and I'm pressed for time - tomorrow I plan to do the Shape Workout (Redefining) that was up for today but got re-scheduled in favor of yoga. I'm toying with different ideas to get more yoga into my routine. I don't have the discipline, time or energy to do a second workout on a regular basis, so I'm thinking about doing a 2 day " on " 1 day " off " program - the " off " day is yoga so it isn't " off " it just isn't my regular cardio and strength workouts. I know that a young body is a flexible body and sometimes I'm too darned stiff for my " youth " Another option I'm thinking about is to only do 5 " regular " workouts a week and one yoga day a week (and one complete rest day a week, which I like but that is more for mental health reasons than physical reasons, I think if I did 5 or even 6 days of cardio/strength and one ortwo days of yoga, I'd be fine physically...but I just like to have one day a week where I don't have to get up early or otherwise try to figure out where to fit in a workout!) Take care! Donna ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
