Feb. 28th!!! I am so relieved, because her rods are on the move. We

will head out this week.

Hooray! I never thought I'de be excited about such a difficult surgery,

but this waiting and watching the rods continue to erode through her ribs

was killing me. I am so happy.

Thanks for sharing the great news. Surgery sooner than later is a good thing

right now. Will it be done at PCMC or Shriners?

Travel safe! Leave the cold and snow in CO please. I'm done with it.

Hi Heath - Yep, bitter-sweet news. Am glad that you have a date,

waiting is the hardest!

I'm interested in how these VEPTR 11's will work. Are they going to

stay attached to the pelvis? Please add any info as you get it...

I've just fedex'ed Siobhan's latest x-rays down to SLC - She can't

get

rid of the pain. As a mum and NOT a doc, I think her rotation is

pushing the rods, which is making it painful for her - A slow

migration - Fingers crossed they hold until July!!!!!

Sending lots of hugs to Liv, and you too. We leave to Florida

tomorrow, will call

you when we get back.
