Hi all

Does anyone know if you can ever get Seville lavender as an essential oil

or CO2, or is it only produced as an absolute?

If it's only produced as an absolute, what's the reason for that?

Many thanks for any info!

Best wishes

Hi, Johanna:

I came across this website which describes the Seville lavender and is available

for sale.

Hi Johanna

I used to supply Lav. Seville absolute as part of my Module 1 kit

for my students (also for sale to the general public). It became

hard to get great quality oil, so I eliminated it from my kits.

When I first sourced it, from a very reputable dealer, I was sent

the Eo and the abs to test. They smelled almost identical, but

the EO had no lasting power. It smelled like paper after five

minutes, so I went with the absolute.
