Guest guest
Out of human nature and/or lack of self esteem, the following is true for vary many; "We more often see beauty in others before we ever see it within ourselves." -Sad yet correctable; What is outer beauty? it is nondefineable because everyone has their own unique answer. We often wish we weren't as large, as thin, taller, shorter.the list goes own and on.This isjust a matter of acceptance for who we are. Each the same, yet each unique. All sparks independant yet of the same flame of life. Another truth is that outer beauty (as all else) is impermanent. The ones who think- or we think are perfect will become victimsof old age just as we also will. No one is exempt. We are aging every second. As for the facelift and other artificial means... ego alert! Plus with this, we may not wrinkle... we will melt.lol. Another truth is that the true beauty which transcends all time is our inner beauty. How we feel about ourselves, our firmness in our truths, compassion, and the such.Even death itself cannot take this away. And yet another; we are all one, unique little dots yet all connected, thus one in the same.So with this, when we see others, are we not mearely seeing our own reflection? So to sum this up,take the time to feel good about the inside. The outside is irrelevant anyway, and with effort and patience, our soul, karma,or whatever we call it,will be shown through our eyes, through our words, and will even be seen and felt in total darkness by others... infinite beauty, yes. Guest guest
Dear Randy, I have one very quick word to say about this post, Exactly!!!!! LOL...I am in total agreement with you...Love yourself as you are. It is society's views of what is " pretty " or what-have- you that is irrelevant, yes, I totally agree..It is how YOU feel about YOURSELF that shows your true beauty. I learned this through the years. I was teased when I was younger and believed the cruel things others said, but now I see in my own heart of hearts that I am beautiful and there is nothing cocky or arrogant about loving myself...The inside IS reflected by the outside...I sooooooo agree, Randy!!
