Guest guest
Brilliant news Margaret amd Henry particularly when you consider all the severe health problems he (or both of you) have had this last year! Now for Sam - I have waited a week because I wanted to be sure it was real but we have for the first time since he was 13 months got purposeful on command vocalisations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is since we started brushing across between his lips from cheek to cheek per the brushing man Its only an ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, he stops, I say my turn and do it, he waits, I say your turn and he does it again and again, he is as pleased with himself as I am For the past 3 days he has been blowing up big punch balloons - he only ever managed to get enough to see it was a balloon, never to stretch the material and really blow it His receptive is up, no prompts required, I think the difference is he is actually listening Gotta go Mandi x AOL's new homepage has launched. Guest guest
Mandi!!! My heart is actually pounding reading this! I am so very, very happy for you and Sam. This is the kind of thing that I believe is really foundational, not a splinter skill that is nice but goes nowhere. Congratulations! I think this defintely deserves a celebratory drink in Guildford ;-) Anita > > > Brilliant news Margaret amd Henry particularly when you consider all the severe health problems he (or both of you)?have had?this last year! > > Now for Sam - I have waited a week because I wanted to be sure it was real but we have for the first time since he was 13 months got purposeful on command vocalisations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
