Guest guest
have you checked valtrex list? many use this combo, there should be some more info in there in group files as well. if you don't want to risk liver problems with diflucan you could try that with valtrex combo with nystatin, some find that one works although most success stories are with diflucan. haven't tried ourselves as too pricey, also no way of doing blood draws and checking liver enzymes every few months ... (nystatin is a no go for us) you could always try naturals as an alternative, with did OLE + candex and saw good things, there is lots of buzz at the moment about new herb LDN 100 but you need a qualified doc or herbalist for that one . Guest guest
thanks Natasa, why is nystatin no go, as you say? bad reactions?? interested as we are starting to use it again, but really, to little effect. thanks > > > > Everyone will get something out of this site > > > > http://stankurtz.com/biomedical/comprehensive-antiviral- approach.html > > > > whats the opinion on antifungals with antivirals like valtrex, etc? > > > > anyone follow his path with success? > > > > i would love to try diflucan and valtrex but our boy has such high > > liver enzymes, dont want to heap on any more pressure. > > >
Guest guest
for us we only managed to any nystatin into him for a couple of weeks or so, very bad stools the whole time - maybe die off but not sure as saw no gains whatsoever, if anything a bit worse during those two weeks, when we ran out of ideas how to get it into him and gave up ... Guest guest
We've been doing a modified version of this for a couple of months. OLE, transfer factor, virastop, lysine and anti-fungals a couple of times per day. Really weird response. The entire family is routinely sick since we started. I've been hit with three separate viral illnesses in 6 weeks. Could this be my son shedding viruses which we then contract? Anyone else seen this? Or is just a coincidence? Guest guest
is your son the only one taking those sups in your family? we had that when starting OLE, both ds and myself took it and had strongest cold symptoms for full two weeks. no hard science as to why, one theory is that when some old 'resident' virus comes under attack from antiviral agent the body's own immune system suddenly wakes up, recognises it as an invader and launches an offensive... which is what creates those symptoms. there is also a theory saying it possible that some 'autism' viruses get passed on from kids, like anecdotal stories of siblings getting measles after their asd sibling got vaccinated. so putting these two theories together it would be possible what you are seeing is not coincidence. with transfer factor our son had very runny yellow bm for a few days, as if hit by stomach virus. I was afraid he was reacting to dairy in tf but stuck to it and bms normalised so it must have been some immune/viral reaction I believe... Guest guest
None of us is taking any supps, bar my ASD son. He's also had a few illnesses since starting this anti-viral trial, whihc makes me think it might be doing something. Last one was really weird. He develpoed symptoms (loss of appetite, sleepy, cranky, etc.) but had no medical issues that our GP could detect. No fever. No infection. Nothing. I think that ties in with the immune system kicking in and attacking a persistant and chronic infection. I guess we'll just push on a for a bit longer and see where it takes us. No gains yet (as per usual!), but maybe in time.
