Guest guest
Hi , We use glandulars on Yasko - but I think we started Adrenal Cortex quite awhile before. Thyroid support also includes things like tyrosine and iodine (we use iodoral). The 4 thyroid hormones are made from both of these. We used to just supplement amino acids using the compounded amino formula (recommended by the organic acid tests) - but these don't supplement tyrosine even if it's low. They only supplement the essential amino acids. There is more that can be done for hypothyroidism (low thyroid) but these are basic supports that would be worth finding out about. Best wishes, Sandy
Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Thankyou for your reply. showed up to have a thyroid problem (TSH and Free T3 in range but free T4 low) and we have had him on 2 iodaral a day for 5 months. We saw an improvement to his blood sugar stresses but at 5 months when we retested the T4 was still as low. So we are on 1/2 iodaral a day and just introduced tyrosine. You seem to understand all this better than I do. We will test again soon but he does seem more lively... maybe a little too lively as he seems to have realised he is a boy and likes rough play ....at 12 stone and 5ft 6 (13 years old) he tends to knock people flying !!!! As we have no doctor's supervision I am too scared to go the royal armour route (Muscroft agrees) but if you have any other ideas I would be very interested to study them further. Thanks , x > > Hi , > > We use glandulars on Yasko - but I think we started Adrenal Cortex > quite awhile before. Thyroid support also includes things like > tyrosine and iodine (we use iodoral).
