Hello all,

We finally received the CD from Erie with 's xrays

on it, but everytime we try to view it on our computer

the computer freezes up. Has anyone ever had this

happened and if so, what should I do? I am so

frustrated. I need to make a copy to send to Dr.

(he said he would review the x-rays for us).

Should I just go to Kinkos?

Thanks!

Jill and

I'd just send the original disk. They can always print another one at

the hospital.

When we go to the film lab, they want to give us disks, but I insist

also on print/film copies. I can't open their files on my Mac.

I had the same problem with a CD (x-rays and MRI), but from San Diego.

On one computer it wouldn't work because we didn't have a certain

script loaded. But, I tried another computer and just let it sit

(although it seemed frozen) for awhile and the application finally

loaded with the pics. Then I used a program called " Snag-it " to

copy out the images to a jpg file. Then I sent a disc of those files

to docs (or you can even e-mail them). We tried to copy the actual CD

and it didn't work.

But, as Sandi said, you could also just send the original - probably

easier! But, I thought I would share what I did to make it work.

Thanks , Sandi, and . It was making me

crazy. We were able to open them on another computer.

The computer I was using is 6 years old so maybe it

just didn't have enough memory? I was able to make

copies, but just to be on the safe side, I sent the

original to Dr. . I will be sure to post what

he, and my friend who is a radiologist say.
