Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you have ever used a natural extract of vanilla (or

other flavour) designed for use in food, flavour extract in the creation of your

perfumes?

I have come across a lovely natural vanilla extract with no additives other than

alcohol, water and vanilla bean extract as the ingredients.

I discovered it has a lovely warm, mellow fragrance, and this made me wonder if

natural flavour extracts could be used in perfumery. Is this kind of thing ok to

use in or as a base for a natural perfume?
