Todd's 4th Cast (home from Birmingham)

We just got home from Birmingham with Todd's 4th cast. Everything

went very well, and we got good news!

His out of cast xray was 24 upper, 20 lower!! So we're on track with

casting still, yay! In 4th cast, he's at 21 upper, 14 lower.

Some of you may remember that the 2nd cast did not give any

correction, with his out of cast xrays the same as before it: 31

upper, 34 lower. Dr Khoury said in Februrary if the 3rd cast didn't

give any correction, he'd put on a 4th but not a 5th, and we'd be

talking about options. So we are very happy right now that the 3rd

cast was a good one!!

Thank you all for your prayers for my boy, and your support. I know

it makes a difference.

We are scheduled to go back June 3 for cast #5. Dr Khoury wants to

try a waterproof cast then...he says it would be his first. Anybody

have experiences with gortex/waterproof casts??
