Guest guest
has been asked to help out in a summer playgroup for some of her friends that have learning disabilities. Yes, she is only 6, but the person running it, has known her for 3 years, and has observed how well she gets along with her classmates who have learning or physical limitations/disabilities/special needs so she asked if would like to help out. I am very proud of her! She also goes for her VEPTR expansion next week, then Girl Scout camp, VBS Camp and Dance Camp are also on the agenda for the summer.Gail "In a study, scientists report that drinking beer can be good for the liver. Guest guest
Hadley is getting super strong with this cast on and starting to learn more and more things she can do. With her cast getting smaller on her meaning its not down so low she can bend her legs up higher. This resulted in her learning to climb stairs. She wouldnt do it at first, but she built up her confidence and the other day, i turned around and there she was sitting on step # 5! She was so proud of herself! And she did it so fast! Time to pull out the gates again :)Shauna From: infantile_scoliosis @yahoogroups. com <infantile_scoliosis @yahoogroups. com>Subject: [infantile_scoliosi s] Challenge time!, 6/2/2008, 12:00 amTo: infantile_scoliosis @yahoogroups. comDate: Sunday, June 1, 2008, 11:45 PM Reminder from: infantile_scoliosis Yahoo! Guest guest
Gail! Your girl is so wonderful. What an awesome compliment to be asked to help out. If only all adults were as caring as some kids are! Tell her that her family here online is very proud of her as well. We will be praying for her next week as she gets her expansion. Guest guest
I was on call tonight so I did not have to leave for work at the time I usually does report ; later my daughter Eiddelyn got a bit dissappointed when I was called to work. To appease her I asked her to prepare my food: cup of noodles, yugourt and an apple. By the time I got of my room and ready to leave my lunch bag was ready too!!!! But she said "have some orange too mommy". instead of feeling sad because I have to leave her she became excited for being a little helper. She will turn four this September.
