When did the concept of Healthy eating enter the public domain here in the UK

Dear guys,

I need some help with my academic work.

I arrived in the UK only 4 years ago so cannot rely on my own experience

for this information.

According to your own memory, when was the marketing of the concept of

" healthy eating " , as promoted by UK government introduced here. The

" Eat 5 veg/fruit daily " , I understand, would also be part of this campaign.

Without consulting outside sources, eg. internet, can you give me a ball

park year when the " Healthy Eating " campaign started and if this was

different from the " 5 fruit/veg a day, could you just type the year of

that also......

If you can just give me a year/s, ie 1989, that would be really helpful!
