Guest guest
Think someone, maybe Eileen mentioned recently that the NAS should be interested in the new system adopted by SENDIST? Anyway I spoke to one of their tribunal advisor volunteers last week and they are aware of the new system, but seemingly no objections of any kind, maybe I would have to dig deeper to find out if that is the whole picture, but they are certainly aware of it/ Also surprised to find out that I have just been unlucky in the past with my tribunal experiences and most parents find it to be a fair system. They can only offer a very limited, if any, advice at the moment as they are overwhelmed by parents going to tribunal, suggesting IPSEA who are not returning calls due no doubt to high demand. In the past we just hired the legal people[mostly waste of money] but the NAS don't appear to be any help at all, rock and a hard place. Once again 10yrs down the road and I'm hard pushed to see what part the NAS play in either of my kids life. My boys don't need people to think differently, pretty please, they need legislation to force LEA's and schools to provide a level playing field here, whoops turning into a rant.
