Guest guest
, You wanted to know what your bloodwork was; CBC is a complete blood count, it includes you red blood cell and white blood cell count, plus other stuff like the size of your cells and a bunch of other stuff that you look at if you have infection or anemia. Your ALT and AST are liver function tests the doc keeps an eye on those getting to high because your imuran can make those elevate and she would probably stop you Imuran if they got significantly elevated. CRP is a measure of inflammation, usually have it drawn with your sed rate and its another test to help determine inflammation. Creatinine is a kidney function again checking it because you are on the Imuran. Albumin same thing because you are on the Imuran, sometimes docs check your urine for albumin too. Only question you said your WBC 100, usually measured with a whole number x 1,000. Could it have been 10.00? Hope that answers your questions. Let me know if it does not , I still have all my old books from when I was in Phyisican Asst. school and all my med journals from when I was still practicing. I don't give medical advice but if you have questions about lab or other tests that you would like it explained let me know. Stay well, ________________________________ To: Stillsdisease Sent: Thursday, December 11, 2008 3:06:23 PM Subject: Lookout!!
