I am so proud of all of you guys!!! I actually worked out yesterday! But, just my luck, I was hit by a nasty stomach bug last night and I had to miss my third day of school today (I am sure the instructors will be very impressed that I am missing class already!). I don't think working out is in the forecast for today!!

Guest guest
, I low carb, and I have been doing a Yeast Cleanse. Totally cut dairy out of my Diet, and I gave up soda, and I workout 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins in evening with advanced Tapes. Guest guest
Lacey - I know I sound like the mom that I am..........but you better take your vitamins (with calcium)... Dairy is an important source of protein and calcium. Guest guest
I take plenty of herbs and supplements. We own a Health food store. So I know importance of Dairy, but my body doesn't do well with it. But I appreciate the Mom in you coming out. I am very aware of my personal health. But thanks for the Concern Caroline. Guest guest
Great job, Caroline! I dream of making it to day 8. Last week was supposed to be my first week, however, my heart (and body) were not in it. I was just going through the motions and hardly breaking a sweat. I felt as if I wasn't being true to myself or to the group. So, I reset my start date. I have just finished day 3 of my challenge. I have a question. Does everyone workout for 21 days straight, or do you have a day off ( such as Sunday)?

Guest guest
: Take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon. I'm in Tennessee and there are several nasty bugs here too. As a matter of fact, I'm feeling a bit sluggish as we speak. Or is it my body trying to weasel it's way out of a 4:45am workout? lol

I have tried to low carb but I can't seem to stick with it. I know it works. My mom has lost about 20 pounds doing low carb and has maintained for over a year. I remember her low carbing way back when I was in junior high! What kinds of things do you eat Lacey? Way to go on the weight loss!
Guest guest
Ok, I know I'm in the minority here and that no one asked for my opinion, but I'll give it anyway LOL. I never understood why humans drink the milk of another species. Even calves don't continue to drink milk into their adult lives. Don't get me wrong, I still occasionally indulge in ice cream, whipped cream, etc., but dairy is not necessary for good health. Calcium, yes. Protein, yes. Enough protein can be obtained through a varied plant based diet, and calcium is plentiful in many leafy greens (esp. collards). I still choose to take supplements as well, because I know I'm not perfect in my diet, either. Reading back over what I just wrote.....didn't mean to come across so harsh. Gosh, you guys know I'm not so mean! LOL. I just had to voice my opinion. I don't know about anyone but I'm going straight through. By now I'm so hooked on it, that I can't sleep unless I've done more than my 1 hour a day. do whatever works, and give this challenge a chance to work. Guest guest
- The idea behind a 21 day challenge is to do it 21 days in a row to make it a habit. It can be just the 8 minute tape, or 1/2 a tape, if you are pressed for time, but technically if you miss a day, you should start back at day one. Caroline, who hopes I don't sound like a drill sargent!!
