Guest guest Posted December 12, 2008 Report Share Posted December 12, 2008 Hi Vivvi,I will explain as best I can,it is a hole in your diaphram and caused your stomach to come through it,sometimes only a little bit and it might be uncomfortable or it may cause alot of pain.I also have gerd,which isn't helping the hernia according to the cardiologist!I think I have had gerd since I was a child and it has gotten worse over the years.My hernia is now on both sides and something tells me I will have to have surgery on it in the not too distant future.I swore I would not ever have surgery again unless they scraped me off the road somewhere,I think I'll take that back!
