Guest guest
I would like to learn how to make butter with goats milk. Do you havea recipe? Could use some tried and true ice cream recipes. Have made almost enough butter for the year and figure on freezing the cream in recipe portions. Thanks, Belinda -- Pamela
Guest guest
The only tricky part is getting the cream in the first place. There is a thin layer that rises to the top after a few days but to get the rest you need a machine. It's the same as cow butter, just shake it up enough and you'll have a clump that needs the same rinsing and all. Belinda > > > Could use some tried and true ice cream recipes. Guest guest
yes you can use the cream only. it is very thick and rich. you might want to try it both ways: with all cream, and maybe start with all cream and then back out some of the cream and put in whole milk. ro Ice cream Hi guys.,can anyone tell me if u can make home made ice cream without a machine, using raw jernsey milk? I'm thinking since the raw milk has a high fat content u could use just the milk? Anyone try? Thanks again!!! Guest guest
We just use the milk. I don't like the consistency if we use straight cream from our Jerseys.
