Guest guest
Was any of the money they took from you paid to you by SSI or SSDI? Those funds are untouchable by any agency, including the IRS... If you can prove that the money was provided to you by either agency then contact them and ask how you should proceed, in the mean time do not place any money in your account and stop all automatic payments you may be receiving. http://speakup.today.com Subject: A Horrific Two Weeks To: " autism_in_girls " <autism_in_girls > Date: Thursday, September 4, 2008, 11:15 AM Hi GRRLS, Sorry that I haven't emailed you since last week - it has been a horrific couple of weeks since Wednesday August 27, 2008. Not only did I have my bank account completely wiped out of all of my 3042.58 by a collection agency who was collecting on my $30,000 Student Loan debt, there is nothing that can be done about it. I went to the free legal aid society on August 29th who thus referred me to the law line and when they called me back they made out like it was my fault for having all of my life savings taken away from me like that. I even went to a mental health advocate for my troubles and they too told me there is nothing that can be done to get all of my money back. I really thought my loans were forgiven - but I guess they are not. What a nightmare I am in! To top it off, I went to get a crisis grant from the government On Tuesday September 2, 2008 and all they would give me was $20 for food for the month on September. They won't give me money to cover my portion of the rent unless I get an eviction notice - in other words, my situation doesn't count as a crisis!! Now, I get a few more letters this week - one from the tax people saying that they are withholding all future gst tax credits and future tax refunds until my loan is 100% paid off. Plus, another letter wanting me to pay $499 by September 13, 2008. How am I going to pay it? I have no money in the bank, I am on disability and the next payment of $906.42 doesn't come until the last Wednesday of every month which gets deposited in my bank account! I could use some financial help in helping me to solve this problem. If there is any money that my Opa left behind for me, I could really, really REALLY use the funds post haste. Yesterday, when I was coming home from an appointment in Coquitlam (for job search) I realized that I forgot my house keys at home (for the first time in nearly 20 years) on the top shelf of my book case. I had to call home and then my mommy at work from a police place near my house. Luckily for me the basement door was open and I was able to get in via that route. A few hours later a policeman knocks on the door demanding that I let him in because he is in uniform. That really got me shook up quite well. It has something to do with a 911 call that he thought I made, thinking our street was 30th Avenue and not 40th. I want this whole couple of weeks to just disapear on me right now. I am in pure, living hell. I have read your emails and when I have longer internet access, I will reply to your emails.
