a....Thank you for that photo file link. I looked and looked through my

floppies for the latest photo of me and I up-loaded one on the site that was

taken last November 10th at my youngest daughter's wedding. She's in the photo

too and she's the one who suffers from this terrible agonizing RA. She's 26 now

and was diagnosed at age 20.

The only ones I recognized as recent posts...were a, and elf....This

gives me a better idea of whom I reply to.

Thanks again a.

Hi Gail,

I just posted my picture in the files section, also. The picture I uploaded

isn’t a very happy looking one. It’s just me weary from travel. It was the

only photo I could find, as I’m usually behind the camera.

Hugs,

Carol

Gail, You and your daughter are beautiful! She looks so happy in that photo

I love putting faces to names. It makes it more personal and everyone

more real.

I uploaded mine, although it's not as beautiful as yours. Mine was taken

after spending an hour in the orthodontist's chair getting my braces off 2

years ago. I was obviously exhausted but so happy! I'm 44 by the way.

Everyone looks so young compared to what I envisioned.

Debbie Mc,

You are so kind with your compliments...My daughter was extremely happy. I

remember I was trying to look like I was feeling good when really I wasn't.

THANK GOODNESS!! That is my last daughter to go through the wedding procedures.

Don't remember if I've told you all or not...But I raised my four daughter all

by myself...From ages 6 months...2 years...4 years...and 8 years was the oldest.

It was quite a challenge...But we all grew up together and had lots of family

fun...Now my nest is empty...and I really need this group.

Debbie Mc ...don't under estimate yourself...You're striking attractive...you

have the most beautiful smile. While I was at the site I looked at all of you I

recognized on the list and may I add that ALL of you are beautiful....The thing

that makes everyone of you so beautiful is because you can still smile

....knowing the pain that we all endure.

Looking forward to getting to know each one of you better.

I just looked at the pictures again, and I want to add what a beautiful

group we are! There certainly is no way to tell by looking of the pain we

go through. Gail, your daughter looks so beautiful, too. I'm sorry to hear

you were in pain on her wedding day. This disease is so unfair.

Hugs,

Carol

I'd be lying if I said I didn't already look.

But if I were to pretend I didn't look, I'd have to say we all look

like angles complete with halos. For all we go through, yet still manage

to care and support each other, we have to be angles.

Putting such young faces to this disease really makes us realize

how young we all are even though we feel so old.

Everyone's pictures are beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing.

Gail,

You¹re very welcome. I¹m glad you asked. We have a lot of new pictures

that have been uploaded since you brought

the subject up. Many new members didn¹t know we had that area. Your

picture is beautiful, both you and your daughter.

You¹d never know you both had such a painful disease.

Raising 4 kids on your own must have been very difficult. You are very

strong.
