Guest guest
Charlotte, Some of the conversation is under the subject line of Worker¹s compensation. I casually mentioned to Lynn, who has a problem eating after a serious surgery, that juicing would help her get the needed nutrients without taxing her digestive system. Check under that thread. My thoughts on supplements is why not just use the real thing? Sure it¹s easier to pop a pill, but I¹m to the point that I don¹t trust what is in the supplements. We¹re constantly reading reports of mislabeled packaging and substandard quality. The FDA won¹t do a thing to correct this problem, so I¹ now try to get my nutrition from juicing. There are tons of recipes on the internet. I use google search and put in juicing recipes and get many responses. These sites have some good recipes. http://www.championjuicer.com/recipes1.htm http://www.urboe.org/juicing.html I¹ve tried most of the recipes on the champion site and enjoyed every one of them. a On 6/14/02 8:46 AM, " charlin1958 " <stratton_c@...> wrote: > I'm intrugued by the thread about juicers but can't find the original > post. Guest guest
My thoughts too Carol. Plus the fact of the thousands of unknown compounds in our food that have yet to be isolated and researched. We¹re always hearing of new beneficial compounds found in veggies and fruits. a On 6/14/02 10:37 AM, " Carol " <carol@...> wrote: > << My thoughts on supplements is why not just use the real thing?
