Guest guest
I understand that Easter Seals is doing some things for autism in other states, but I don't see anything done in Texas. If you notice on the list of states where they are supposed to be doing things there are very few shown on the list I sent. It probably is old. I am beginning to think they are really not interested in doing much. Don't count on them either in Houston. I heard they were planning to do something there first before expanding into the rest of the state. Apparently, they haven't done anything from the response you are getting in Houston. Guest guest
Easter Seals North Texas was awarded the DARS autism grant in cooperation with UNT. They are currently serving many children with autism through that grant, as well as through their regular program. They have reached out to our community with an autism advisory board. They asked all the right questions and are shaping their therapy programs to serve the autism community's needs. I think they are doing a very good job in this area of Texas.
