Guest guest
Hi all, I saw my doctor yesterday about my heart testing and from the halter monitor they said I have a lot of irregular heart rythms so have put me on Atenalol daily but still don't know other than that why the swelling so much. He said the echocardiogram didn't show anything of much significance so he is referring me back to the cardiologist I saw about 6 years ago for another Nuclear Stress test. So, it was a bit of a let down and since he was running an hour behind schedule yesterday I forgot to ask him how my labs looked. If my sed rate or anything was increased. I have my rheumatologist appointment next Monday though so will check those questions then. The Atenalol does help the chest pain some and I spent the day resting. On an off topic note, we get to travel tomorrow to Phoenix area to see my daughter and the girls for the first time in almost a year and a half and I am so excited about that! I have to tell you a funny story. was gone from home today and I needed the rest but didn't go as well because I have been on 80mg of Lasix a day, or should I say supposed to be. We live on a mountain that takes a minumum 35 minutes to get down without bathrooms and so usually I have to wag it out at the gravel pits half way down or pee my pants. That's just the way it is. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Well, I told him today that because my feet are swelling again so badly because I have skipped a couple of doses because of trips off the hill he should look for a urinal for women that my girlfriend said they sell. So...... I'm talking to Cat on the phone tonight and comes home. I look up and across the room is standing there holding this white plastic womens urinal cup in front of himself. I just died with laughter. The box is on the table with two women talking and surely it says Women Urinal. He says " I don't know how your supposed to use it. " " But I got you one for emergencies. " LOL. I told Cat between gales of laughter, " Now, I've had everything!! " So with that information being more than you all needed to know, I'll say good night and be well and I'll be home and then gone again until next week. Bunches and bunches of love to you all. You are very special to me.
