Hi , it's great to see you! I see my doctor again on July 2nd and I'll

have the prescription then. I don't know how much yet, but I'm sure it will

be the oral form. I'm going to remember to ask about folic acid and there

was something else. Oh yah, chest x-ray. I'll start it that Friday, so I

have a long weekend to see how I feel.

I'm not liking the Prednisone much rite now. It's making me very agitated

in the morning. I'm going to see if it helps to take it later in the

morning when I'm not so grumpy normally anyway. Maybe that will make a

difference. I think my co-workers are ready to revolt! lol

Thanks so much for the good wishes. And again, it's wonderful seeing you

post.

Good luck with the MTX, Debbie! It's natural to be afraid to use these

serious medications, but not taking a DMARD when you need it can have dire

consequences as well, as I'm sure you've realized. I'm glad that you have

faith in your physicians to help you decide what's best for you. That makes

the choice much easier.

When do you start? What form and how much?

Re: [ ] New To List

Hi Gail, I'm Debbie. It's nice to have you join us. I am recently

diagnosed with RA and in the process of deciding whether to start on Metho.

I have made my decision to go ahead and take it. I'm just scared of it, but

I think I need to put that fear aside and do what's best for my body. I

have great confidence in my doctors to take good care of me.

Welcome to the group. I have found everyone to be so supportive and

friendly. You will undoubtable love each and every person here. (((Hugs)))
