Guest guest
Hey Shauna! I think that is still great correction and it makes sense about the cast times.... At first, our doc said that he wanted to see Noelle back in 3 months, which was wierd to me because it has been every 8 weeks up till now. I asked him again the morning of the casting and he changed it back to 2 months.... He thought Noelle had already turned 2, when the growth spurts slow a bit, but when he realized that she was still 22 months, he changed to 8 weeks again.... I was nervous to wait 3 months because this cast is pretty tight, so that relieved me some.... I totally understand where you are coming from, especially after Hadley's last cast getting too small.... I'll be praying that it works out for you this time with no issues!!!! Steph Subject: Hadley's Follow up aptTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Thursday, July 31, 2008, 3:26 PM We had Hadley's follow up apt yesterday for her 2nd cast. When she wascasted a month ago, she was at a 12 degree curve(in cast). She hasrelaxed to a 23 degree curve. Makes me a little nervous that it wentback 11 degrees, but it could be worse...We are just thankful the apt went well. The Dr said he thinks theywill cast her again in October which makes me a little nervous becauseOct. 1st will be 3 months in the cast and last cast we only made it 21/2 months. But he doesn't want to cast her again till then becausethe Hospital will be closed Nov and Dec for renovation. So, if she'scasted in October, she should be ok until they open again. Makessense, but a little nerve wrecking, but we trust God he will take careof it all!Shauna
