Thanks SO much! I certainly appreciate your help with this. Nothing in this entire process has aggravated me more than this insurance folderol. It seems to never end! I hope your billing/insurance is working out more smoothly than ours.

I have a call into Dr. office and am waiting to hear back from about the billing... I will find out if Aetna has paid the entire bill for her first casting and ask how Dr. Sander's office broke down the billing/codes if they did, in fact, pay for it. If it's possible, I'll ask her to send me a copy of what they paid and see if I can mail you a copy... I'm working on this for you and I won't forget!!!! Steph

, I just spoke to the billing dept. at Dr. Sander's office and they are still working with Aetna over the first casting. Dr. S billed it all under one casting code as a bundle, which included the manipulation of the spine. Aetna rejected that and said they had to be seperate, but that they would not pay for both services... one or the other, either the manipulation or the casting.
