Guest guest
Hi Barb...as I understand most gastric bypass surgeries, one of the things you usually can no longer take are Nsaids such as aspirin and other anti-inflammatories that irritate the stomach. Since I don't take any (I use vicodan if the pain gets bad but that has tylenol in it), I don't think it would negatively affect me. I take Remicade Infusions and IV Methotrexate, but those don't hit the tummy. I imagine the bariatric surgeons go on a case by case basis. I guess I'm still hoping for a miracle...that somehow I'll be able to gradually and permanently get some weight off without the surgery. That would be SO WONDERFUL. I'll keep praying. Take good care of yourself, Barb. Any question I can answer I'll try to. I've been looking at lots on the internet, and then having several friends go through these surgeries I am learning more. Love & Hugs.... Tess
