Hi Barb...as I understand most gastric bypass surgeries, one of the

things you usually can no longer take are Nsaids such as aspirin and

other anti-inflammatories that irritate the stomach. Since I don't take

any (I use vicodan if the pain gets bad but that has tylenol in it), I

don't think it would negatively affect me. I take Remicade Infusions

and IV Methotrexate, but those don't hit the tummy. I imagine the

bariatric surgeons go on a case by case basis.

I guess I'm still hoping for a miracle...that somehow I'll be able to

gradually and permanently get some weight off without the surgery. That

would be SO WONDERFUL. I'll keep praying.

Take good care of yourself, Barb. Any question I can answer I'll try

to. I've been looking at lots on the internet, and then having several

friends go through these surgeries I am learning more.
